Advanced Lens-Control Motor
 
Combining outstanding speed with superior strength, the cforce MAX Lens Motor from ARRI offers advanced features in a compact form that is easily integrated into your ARRI ecosystem. Suitable for studio, stabilizer, handheld, and drone setups, the compact cforce MAX motor features a touchscreen display, Soft Mode, and four levels of torque.

NOTE: This is a motor only; the required gear, cable, and bracket must be obtained separately.

Superior Strength and Speed
Outputting 1.0 Nm of power and 400 t/s speed (gear teeth), the cforce MAX motor provides twice the strength and speed as the cforce mini motor in a compact form that is just 15% larger. Compared to the cforce plus motor, the MAX is twice as fast and equal in strength in a form that is 15% smaller and lighter.
 
Versatile Touchscreen Display
 
 
The versatile cforce MAX motor features both a responsive touchscreen interface and a single haptic button control. The touchscreen provides direct access to motor, display, and system settings. The weather-resistant display features an icon-driven, reduced-text interface and easy operability, even when wearing gloves. The top-mount button enables you to access essential functions like calibration and axis selection without having to navigate a menu.
Customizable Home Screen
  • Customize the multi-segment home screen with the information critical to each setup.
  • The FIZX display shows the active Focus, Iris, Zoom, or AUX axis.
  • The torque value is displayed both as a number from 1 to 4 and in a live bar showing the current torque relative to the maximum motor torque.
  • The speed bar displays the current motor speed in real-time relative to the maximum speed.
  • The motor temperature is displayed and will show a reduction in power if the temperature exceeds 158°F.
Visual Status Feedback
 
  • Colour-coding gives users immediate confirmation of the motor status.
  • Calibration indicators include status requirements, encoder mode, and loss of signal.
  • Assign one of nine colors to the home screen FIZX symbol to match your camera in a multicamera setup.
Personalized Display Control
On-set operation is maximized with flexible display settings, including:

 

  • Adjustable screen brightness.
  • Configurable screen lock timing and lock-screen brightness.
  • Stealth at REC mode automatically dims and locks the display to minimize distractions on set.
  • Automatic rotation ensures that the screen remains readable when your motor is underslung.
Flexible Calibration Modes
 
  • Flexible calibration modes include:
  • Automatic Calibration with end-stop detection and controlled speed and torque for safe, reliable calibration.
  • Manual Calibration with end stops set by hand or remotely via a Hi-5/SX Force-Pad to protect delicate vintage lenses or for AUX-driven setups without fixed end stops.
  • Encoder Limits mode enables users to define custom axis limits using the motor interface or by rotating your lens' barrel.
Soft Mode
Ideal for vintage or stiff lenses, the Soft mode features adjustable motor acceleration and Off/Low/Medium/High modes. Indicated on the display with a feather icon, Soft mode reduces mechanical stress on your lenses and provides greater control.
