Description

The Blackmagic Design UpDownCross 100G is a 1 RU IP video standard converter designed for 100G broadcast infrastructures. Supporting up to eight channels of SMPTE 2110 video at SD, HD, and Ultra HD resolutions, the unit simultaneously converts IP video streams into any other video standard via dual 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces with SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy for uninterrupted signal delivery. Each IP stream also supports up to 16 channels of embedded audio.

Engineered for deployment in live production and broadcast environments, the UpDownCross 100G sports a front-panel 2.2" LCD with an integrated control knob and buttons, allowing real-time monitoring of video, audio, and system status. A built-in speaker and headphone output provide immediate audio confidence monitoring. External control is supported via a dedicated RJ45 for NMOS-based configuration and USB-C for setup and firmware updates, with dual IEC power inputs ensuring power redundancy for reliable performance.
