Description
Save yourself time and aggravation by creating your own cable with this 4.8m long TetherPro Optima 10G TetherBoost Locking USB-C Extension Cable from TetherTools. This extension cable is designed to work with any other TetherPro Optima base cable, up to a maximum of 63'. This lets you create a custom cable length that best suits your studio when shooting tethered to your laptop. Integrated TetherBoost Pro technology uses two chipsets to ensure fast, reliable, long distance data transfers up to 10 Gb/s. When connecting this extension to a base cable, use the built-in SecureLock system to prevent accidental disconnections.
SecureLock System
An octagonal housing with polypropylene inner sleeve delivers superior strength and durability when locking onto an optional TetherPro Optima base cable. The mechanism is easy to use and extremely secure, and able to withstand up to 10Kg of pulling force when locked. Additionally, soft-grip cable tips feature a quick-pull locking feature to also help prevent accidental disconnects.
Durable Exterior
A kink-proof durable exterior can withstand being stepped on by shoes or rolled over by a production cart. The cable also features 20 soldering points for additional physical security, along with interference protection. The cable does not offer power delivery, removing interference from power transmissions, plus resistance to signal interference via insulation, shielding, and a braided core.
