Godox continues to expand its most sophisticated line with the introduction of the powerful KNOWLED MG4KR RGB LED Monolight—the answer for high-end sets in need of high-quality image creation. Emerging as the full RGB version of the previous bi-color MG4K, the MG4KR hits the LED market with 3250W, refined features, advanced control options, and G-mount compatibility. The light features a controller intentionally separate from the fixture, which provides an improved cooling system in a robust and compact IP65-rated housing. The MG4KR was developed as a cinema-quality RGB LED that delivers comparable 4K HMI white light brightness and colorful illumination. Find deepest reds, richest blues, and vibrant greens with high saturation and color accuracy that will suit the most demanding film productions.
Full RGB Lighting
The KNOWLED MG4KR offers an extended color temperature range from 1800 to 10,000K, while providing full RGB color, +/-100% green/magenta shift control, and 91% coverage of the Rec.2020 color space. Other benefits are brightness, accurate color reproduction, and 0-100% dimming with four curves (linear, S, exponential, and logarithmic) for precision. TV studios, filmmakers, and lighting designers will appreciate this AC-powered fixture that ensures high-quality RGB lighting with complete control over its operation.
Exceptional Brightness
- Combined with the included 20° reflector, the MG4KR produces an impressive 225,100 lux at a considerable distance of 9.8' at 5600K.
- Godox's addition of the MGR20 reflector ensures an even higher, more concentrated output than the brand's MG4K bi-color only version.
- Combined with the MGR20 reflector, the light delivers impressive values of 24,600 lux (red), 40,500 lux (green), and 13,400 lux (blue) from the same 9.8' distance.
Intuitive & Advanced
A variety of control methods enable effortless adjustments to control the light and simplify your workflow. While intuitive onboard adjustments are available, DMX and app control are other options. Users also control the fixture wirelessly via LumenRadio CRMX or opt for Ethernet support. Use the Godox KNOWLED app or the Godox Light app for maximum control. The light also offers NFC pairing with Bluetooth connectivity. The wireless range is up to 196.8' away.

Experience improved cooling efficiency thanks to a system that helps regulate temperature levels for more light, less heat, and a longer lifespan on set. This improved cooling system ensures rapid heat dissipation and protects the LED itself. The MG4KR's advanced heat dissipation system ensures consistent performance and full output for extended periods of use. Other highlights are:

G-Mount Compatible
- The light is configured to accept G-mount light modifiers and accessories, such as the included reflector.
- Add optional G-mount light modifiers to achieve complete control of the light output.
- The G-mount ecosystem ensures full compatibility across the MG series models, such as the MG6K, MG4K, MG1200R, and MG1200Bi fixtures.
- Enables multi-lighting setups for higher output results. Note: this version only includes a single unit.
