Eastern Studios Graphics GMG ColourProof is integral to our packaging proofing workflow. We moved to GMG ColourProof at a time when digital proofing was struggling to cut it in the Packaging market. The spot and custom colours used in packaging required accurate matching on a multitude of substrates. We print to multiple EPSON proofers to a wide range of clients and GMG ColourProof delivers with colour accuracy. It is particularly clever blending PMS with PMS and PMS with process. GMG ColorProof allows us to proof to the most diverse international industry standards. The software comes pre-loaded with colour profiles of all common standards, so we were able to get started right away. It was a simple as, Select the printer, calibrate it, and we were ready to print our first proof. We also have the GMG FlexoProof module, which allows for a cost-effective colour-accurate halftone proof based on the original imagesetter data. And when we use this in conjunction with GMG ProofControl, each proof can be verified as being 100% accurate, delivering proofs we and importantly our customers can rely on.
