The Artistic Nude Photography Workshop by Cam Attree
The Art of Nude Photography is a hands on workshop aimed at providing experienced photographers a greater understanding of the basic principles of lighting the nude as well as defining the various genres of nude photography.
Emphasis will be placed on as much shooting time as possible after an initial demonstration.

- Defining Artistic Nude Photography – the difference between the nude styles.
- Models – Sourcing models and model etiquette.
- Posing and Composition – Implied nudes, flattering poses, using body shape and working with the environment.
- Lighting The Human Form – Using available light and how to add off camera flash to make your images pop.
- Location Nudes – Finding your location, quality and quantity of light, getting the right model for your location.
- Equipment – Lens choice, angle of view, specialist equipment.
Cam is an accredited member and a Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and is an Authorised Photographer for VOLO Magazine where his work as been featured regularly.
Although is he best known for his fine-art nude photography, Cam is highly skilled at all forms of people photography. He is currently the QLD AIPP Fashion Photographer of the Year and in 2013 Cam was awarded as the RAW Australia Photographer of the Year! This is fabulous recognition for Cam’s artistic nude photography and adds to his previous achievements such as being awarded the 2012 Creative Asia Landscape Photographer of the Year and the 2008 Queensland AIPP Portrait Photographer of the Year.
Sylph is genuinely passionate about her work; thriving on creativity of all kinds, she is very patient, understanding and easy to work with. Her experience as an artist across a variety of mediums - including her own photographic work; being a classically trained musician; and painting/sketching - is reflected in her empathetic nature and appreciation for the artistic process.
About the Location:
This Grand Country Estate is set on 12 acres of glorious English style parkland and boasts grand proportions. The exquisite grounds are perfect for corporate use and photo shoots.
This inviting property also features a large luxurious swimming pool and tennis court perfect for the warmer months. This exclusive estate is equipped with all the luxury requirements and much, much more. The Estate is incredibly private and secluded within 12 acres of gardens, trees and hedging and is entered via a majestic drive way leading to the main residence. A charming & historic country retreat in a picture perfect setting, “Leylandagreen” is only minutes to the centre of Bowral.
Directions to the Location:
From Sydney (app 90 minutes) take the M5/Hume Highway until the Mittagong exit. Proceed through Mittagong, take the Bowral turnoff and continue through the township. At the end of the main street (Bong Bong Street) is a large roundabout - take the left hand exit and follow Kangaloon Road past the Golf Course/Cemetery; go through another roundabout - take the second exit - then yet another roundabout (at the Christian School), again taking the second exit. Approximately 1.2 km from this point you will see a large sign on your left indicating "Sproule's Lane". The entrance to Leylandagreen is directly behind the Sproule's Lane sign - the property with the pine tree hedging.

Paying for your workshop in full upon booking will confirm your attendance. Places are limited to 12
We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule any workshop, due to inadequate enrollment, bad weather, instructor illness, or an 'act of God'. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been cancelled.
As our costs for each training event remain the same no matter how many delegates attend, like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give a full refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances.
The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. Please note that we cannot be liable for any other costs incurred by yourself, so please check with us before booking any non-refundable accommodation or transport.
We reserve the right to take photographic, (both still and video) records of any of our workshops which may be used for promotional purposes, submissions, advertising and records.
We grant permission for participants to use any images captured by them during this workshop for self promotion only. Participants may not make any financial gain from any images captured during this workshop.
