The Artistic Nude Photography Workshop by Cam Attree

The Art of Nude Photography is a hands on workshop aimed at providing photographers a greater understanding of the basic principles of lighting the nude form as well as defining the various genres of nude photography artistically. 

Emphasis will be placed on as much shooting time as possible and comprehensive notes will be provided, these notes includes notes and images relating to the topics covered in the workshop and much more.

Topics Covered:

  • Defining Artistic Nude Photography – the difference between the nude styles.
  • Models – Sourcing models and model etiquette.
  • Posing and Composition – Implied nudes, flattering poses, using body shape and working with the environment.
  • Lighting The Human Form – Using available light and how to add off camera flash to make your images pop.
  • Location Nudes – Finding your location, quality and quantity of light, getting the right model for your location.
  • Equipment – Lens choice, angle of view, specialist equipment.
Our Presenter:

Cam Attree:

Located in Brisbane, Australia, Cam is an award winning photographer with over 25 years experience and is regarded by his peers as one of Australia’s foremost exponents of artistic nude photography. He has a passion for capturing the beauty of the human form in both the studio or natural environment.

Cam is an accredited member and a Master of Photography with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and is an Authorised Photographer for VOLO Magazine where his work as been featured regularly. 

Although is he best known for his fine-art nude photography, Cam is highly skilled at all forms of people photography. He is currently the QLD AIPP Fashion Photographer of the Year and in 2013 Cam was awarded as the RAW Australia Photographer of the Year! This is fabulous recognition for Cam’s artistic nude photography and adds to his previous achievements such as being awarded the 2012 Creative Asia Landscape Photographer of the Year and the 2008 Queensland AIPP Portrait Photographer of the Year.

Melbourne: Neave Cohen

 
Neave has been a fine art nude model for several years, modelling in Australia and overseas. Her work is alternative and shows great passion.

Sydney: Genevieve 
 
Genevieve is a Sydney-based art nude model.
While her creative beginnings lie in acting and dance, she begun art modelling a number of years ago.
This acting experience has provided Genevieve with a strong skills base in emotional expression which she brings to every shoot.
Genevieve is a professional model and very comfortable and confident in creatively collaborating with photographers and artists.
She is fascinated by the art and technique of photography, adores it's ability to capture the exquisite world around us and the beauty and inner worlds of the people that inhabit it.
Genevieve is an adventurous, highly creative and fun-loving model, a young woman with integrity and a strong communicator.
She has experience posing for painters, drawers as well as for many photographers.
She feels that she can find depth and meaning, and therefore, art in all experiences and places.
Genevieve finds joy in connecting to and understanding a range of diverse people which assists her greatly in working with artists and photographers.
Genevieve is also comfortable and familiar in her skin and has a range of skills from a gymnastics and dance background.
Genevieve is creative and at home in her body and in front of the camera and adores being a muse for artists.

Payments:

Paying for your workshop in full upon booking will confirm your attendance. Places are limited to 16

Refunds:

We reserve the right to cancel and reschedule any workshop, due to inadequate enrollment, bad weather, instructor illness, or an 'act of God'. We also reserve the right to cancel any workshop if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that our costs would be higher than our income. Please therefore do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular date, as you may find that it has been cancelled.

As our costs for each training event remain the same no matter how many delegates attend, like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights etc, we are unable to give a full refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstances.  

The exception to this is if we have prior notice and are able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event we will of course make a full refund or credit to you. Please note that we cannot be liable for any other costs incurred by yourself, so please check with us before booking any non-refundable accommodation or transport.

Workshop Photography

We reserve the right to take photographic, (both still and video) records of any of our workshops which may be used for promotional purposes, submissions, advertising and records.

We grant permission for participants to use any images captured by them during this workshop for self promotion only. Participants may not make any financial gain from any images captured during this workshop.
