Redrock Micro Equipment

 

Entity providing this warranty:

Kayell Australia Pty Limited ABN 13 087 954 149 (Kayell) warrants that the Goods will be free from defective workmanship and materials.

Warranty against defects:

Kayell’s Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  The Purchaser is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from that supplier. The Purchaser is also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. 

Kayell will, at its option, either repair or replace any defective Goods or part thereof with a new or remanufactured equivalent during the Warranty Period at no charge to the Purchaser for parts or labour during the Warranty Period.

The warranty described herein shall be the sole and exclusive warranties granted by Kayell and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the Purchaser in addition to other rights and remedies of the Purchaser under a law in relation to the Goods to which this warranty relates.

All implied warranties including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for use are limited to the Warranty Period.

Neither the sales personnel of the seller nor any other person is authorised to make any warranties other than those described herein, or to extend the duration of any warranties beyond the Warranty Period on behalf of Kayell.

Correction of defects, in a manner and for the Warranty Period described herein, shall constitute complete fulfilment of all liabilities and responsibilities of Kayell to the Purchaser with respect to the Goods and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, and strict liability otherwise. In no event shall Kayell be liable, or in any way responsible, for any damages or defects in the Goods which were caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other than Kayell or an authorised service provider.

Kayell shall not be liable or in any way responsible for any incidental or consequential economic or property damage, except where Kayell is in breach of the guarantees provided to the Purchaser in accordance with Schedule Two of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), or applicable legislation from time to time.

Redrock Micro warrants to the original customer, for the life of each Redrock product, that it is free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Redrock will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Redrock on an exchange basis, and at Redrock’s sole option will be either new or refurbished that is functionally equivalent to new.

This warranty does not cover any damage to products that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply (if such applies), abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, dust, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. This warranty also does not apply to any product on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled or packaged incorrectly, has been sold as second-hand or has been resold contrary to the US export regulations.

This warranty covers only repair, replacement or refund for defective Redrock products, as provided above. Redrock is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty, any other equipment bought from Redrock that is not designed and manufactured by Redrock and is under the Redrock brand. This warranty excludes 3rd party equipment, and or equipment attached to Redrock products. In the event of a claim, Redrock's sole obligation shall be repair/replacement of the product. In no event will Redrock be responsible for incidental, consequential, or special loss of property, however caused. In no event will Redrock or Redrock employees have any personal liability whatsoever.

This Lifetime Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Redrock Micro products. No employee, agent, dealer, or other person is authorized to alter this warranty or make any other warranty on behalf of Redrock Micro.

This warranty excludes products that may be sold by Redrock Micro but are manufactured by a third party. This includes such products as Zeiss Lenses. For these products, they are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty for Redrock Micro Electronic Products

Redrock Micro provides a one year limited warranty for Redrock products that contain electronic components. This limited hardware warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials of our products for up to one year, and does not cover damage to this product that results from improper installation, accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply (if applies), damage from incorrect cabling, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, dust or any unauthorized disassembly, repair or modification.

Warranty Claim:

In order to enforce the rights under this warranty, the Purchaser must provide proof of purchase showing the goods were purchased in Australia from an Authorised Australian retail or online customer of Kayell’s or from Kayell. The proof of purchase must state the date of purchase of the Goods; provide a description of the Goods and the price paid for the Goods.

A claim made by a Purchaser during the Warranty Period, should be in writing along with the Proof of Purchase and sent to:

Upon receipt of the claim, Kayell will issue to the Purchaser a (RMA) Return Merchandise Authorization number, as an acknowledgment that the Purchaser has lodged the claim.

Once a Goods Return Authorisation Number is issued Kayell will then assess the claim. The cost of transportation of the Goods will be borne by the Purchaser. Kayell may then repair, replace or refund the Goods depending on the nature of the claim. If the claim is found not to be valid, the Purchaser will be advised accordingly and any return freight will be the responsibility of the Purchaser.
